If you've been Googling "campervan hire St Agnes" and hitting a wall of shiny websites with no phone number, I understand the frustration. We're a small family operation — you'll usually get me (Andrea) on the phone, and I'll tell you the same thing I tell everyone: come and see the van, then decide.
What campervan hire from St Agnes actually looks like
St Agnes sits in a genuinely lucky spot for motorhome touring in South West England. Loch, glen or coast — most of what people come to Scotland for is inside a comfortable day's driving from where you'll collect the van, and we'll happily plot the first two nights for you before you set off.
Handover takes an hour, sometimes ninety minutes, and I won't rush it. You'll drive the van around our yard before you leave, set up the awning, connect the hook-up, and light the hob, so nothing on your first night is a surprise. Guests from further afield sometimes stay in a local B&B the night before and collect fresh in the morning — I'll happily book them in with someone I trust.
2026 pricing (what it costs, what's included)
Our 2026 price freeze runs the season out at last year's numbers — low season from £495 a week, mid-season around £795, and peak (school holidays and the Highland shoulder) £1,195 to £1,295. That's fully inclusive: bedding, kitchen kit, gas, awning, chairs and the mileage you'd actually use in a week. No fake-cheap headline followed by a £300 "cleaning fee" on the way back.
Insurance is fully-comp with a £750 standard excess. You can reduce that to zero on the day for a small daily fee, and I'd recommend it for first-time hirers — not because I expect anything to go wrong, but because a low-speed scrape on a single-track passing place shouldn't cost you your deposit and your good mood.
Route advice for guests based near St Agnes
A lot of our best trips are the "boring" ones — three or four nights, one or two campsites, a lot of walking, an early pub dinner. If you're coming from St Agnes, don't feel you have to earn the trip by clocking miles. The van earns its keep sitting still with a view, too.
The easiest next step from St Agnes is a five-minute call. I'll ask a couple of questions — dates, party size, where you fancy — and tell you which van fits and whether the dates are wide open or getting tight. No pressure, no upsell, and if we can't help I'll point you to someone honest who can.
