We publish real prices. £495 low season, £795 mid, £1,295 peak — one number covers the van, the kit, the insurance, the mileage and the handover. If someone quotes you dramatically less, ask them what's not included; it's usually bedding, gas, insurance excess reduction, and the extra hour on handover, and those four line items add up fast.

Every hire is fully-comp insured. The excess reduction is optional and worth it if you're new to a vehicle this size — Highland roads are narrow and one clipped mirror is enough to eat the excess. It's cheap peace of mind.

Route advice for guests based near Glastonbury

A lot of our best trips are the "boring" ones — three or four nights, one or two campsites, a lot of walking, an early pub dinner. If you're coming from Glastonbury, don't feel you have to earn the trip by clocking miles. The van earns its keep sitting still with a view, too.
