If you've been Googling "campervan hire Arbroath" and hitting a wall of shiny websites with no phone number, I understand the frustration. We're a small family operation — you'll usually get me (Andrea) on the phone, and I'll tell you the same thing I tell everyone: come and see the van, then decide.

What campervan hire from Arbroath actually looks like

Guests from Arbroath usually plan a loop rather than a straight line, and we'll help you build one. Whether it's the North Coast 500, a west-coast whisky run, or a slower drift through Scotland, the geography's on your side. Bring the postcode of where you're staying and we'll factor the transfer into your handover time.

Handover takes an hour, sometimes ninety minutes, and I won't rush it. You'll drive the van around our yard before you leave, set up the awning, connect the hook-up, and light the hob, so nothing on your first night is a surprise. Guests from further afield sometimes stay in a local B&B the night before and collect fresh in the morning — I'll happily book them in with someone I trust.

2026 pricing (what it costs, what's included)

Pricing for 2026 sits between £495 and £1,295 per week depending on the season. I'd rather you paid a fair price and had a brilliant trip than paid a suspicious price and spent your first night trying to work out why the heater won't come on. Everything we quote is inclusive, and the deposit is fully refundable on return.

Insurance is fully-comp with a £750 standard excess. You can reduce that to zero on the day for a small daily fee, and I'd recommend it for first-time hirers — not because I expect anything to go wrong, but because a low-speed scrape on a single-track passing place shouldn't cost you your deposit and your good mood.

Route advice for guests based near Arbroath

A lot of our best trips are the "boring" ones — three or four nights, one or two campsites, a lot of walking, an early pub dinner. If you're coming from Arbroath, don't feel you have to earn the trip by clocking miles. The van earns its keep sitting still with a view, too.

The easiest next step from Arbroath is a five-minute call. I'll ask a couple of questions — dates, party size, where you fancy — and tell you which van fits and whether the dates are wide open or getting tight. No pressure, no upsell, and if we can't help I'll point you to someone honest who can.
